In addition to playing music, Don has worked as a military policeman, over-the-road trucker and operated a towing business in inner-city Detroit -- all experiences that shaped his gritty, industrial strength brand of blues. The group also includes guitarist Brian McLaughlin, who has backed Etta James and many Twin Cities jazz singers, drummer Brian Glascock, who has toured and recorded with the Motelsand Iggy Pop, and tenor saxophonist Glenn Graham, who has performed with Willie Murphy, Calvin James, Mojo Buford and others. |
